About FindCV

What we do, where we work

The basics — what FindCV is, who we serve, which countries, which categories.

What is FindCV? Popular

FindCV is a recruitment marketplace connecting Filipino jobseekers with verified employers and licensed partner agencies. We operate across 39 destination markets — the GCC, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and beyond.

We're not an agency — we're the technology layer that verifies both sides and connects them to the licensed partners who handle deployment, contracts, and visas.

Who is FindCV for?

Four audiences, all under one roof:

  • Filipino jobseekers — in the Philippines or already working abroad
  • Households hiring domestic staff (nannies, housekeepers, drivers, cooks)
  • Companies — from small businesses to enterprises — hiring across hospitality, retail, admin, trades, and more
  • Licensed partner agencies who deploy candidates end-to-end
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Which countries does FindCV operate in?

39 destination markets — including the full GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman), major Asia-Pacific hubs (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia), Europe (UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands and more), and select markets in North America and beyond.

Both hiring flows — new deployment from the Philippines and in-country hire — are supported in every one of those markets.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do jobseekers need to be Filipino to use FindCV?

Yes. FindCV specialises in Filipino talent — that's our expertise, our verification process, and our partner-agency network. Non-Filipino jobseekers won't get value from us; try a general job board instead.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What industries and roles does FindCV cover?

Every legitimate industry, including:

  • Domestic work — nannies, housekeepers, cooks, drivers, gardeners, caregivers, security guards
  • Hospitality, F&B, retail — front-of-house, kitchen, retail sales, hotel operations
  • Admin, office, professional — sales, marketing, HR, finance, executive support, IT
  • Skilled trades and construction — welders, electricians, plumbers, MEP, site supervisors
  • Logistics and drivers — commercial drivers, warehouse ops, fleet
  • Beauty and wellness — personal trainers, therapists, aestheticians, spa
  • Healthcare — nurses (RN, NP, ICU, ER, LPN and more), caregivers, medical technicians, allied health (supported on FindCV while MediJobs.ph is in build; will migrate later in 2026)
  • Maritime — deck crew, engine crew, catering crew, officers
  • Engineering, tech, specialised trades — anything else you'd legitimately hire for
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What does FindCV not cover?

FindCV covers every legitimate role in every covered destination country — hospitality, retail, admin, engineering, trades, domestic work, IT, sales, marketing, healthcare, maritime, and everything else.

What we don't do:

  • Illegal or exploitative postings — anything violating destination-country labour law or FindCV's Code of Conduct is removed and the account banned.
  • Placement fees to jobseekers — illegal under Philippine law. If a "recruiter" tries to charge you extra for a job, tell us.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Is FindCV a licensed recruitment agency?

No. FindCV Limited is a UK-registered technology company that operates a recruitment marketplace. We don't hold a Philippine recruitment agency licence and we don't directly deploy workers.

Actual deployment — contracts, visas, medical checks, and government exit clearances — is handled by licensed partner agencies in the Philippines and in the destination country. Every partner is verified against their respective regulator's registry before joining FindCV.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How is FindCV different from a job board?

Three differences that matter:

  1. Focused on Filipino talent. Every jobseeker on FindCV is a Filipino candidate. Jobseekers can opt into paid verification — ID checks, document review, references — that earns a badge and priority in employer searches.
  2. Registered, accountable employers. Employers register as a business (with trade-licence and tax-ID fields) or as a household. Submission-based employer verification is rolling out; until it ships, our team manually reviews anything flagged as suspicious before it reaches candidates.
  3. Deployment handled by licensed partners. When a hire happens, a licensed partner agency handles contracts, visas, and regulatory compliance — not a random freelancer.

Signing up & profile

Signing up & getting verified

From your first click to being visible to global employers.

How do I create a jobseeker account?

Click Sign Up, choose Jobseeker, enter your email and password, and verify your email via the confirmation link we send you. That gets you an active account.

You still need to complete your profile and verification before employers can find you — that's the next step.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What should I do after signing up?

Four things, in order:

  1. Complete your profile — every section. Employers filter by field, so blanks hurt you.
  2. Upload documents — passport, IDs, references, certificates.
  3. Optional: pay the $9.99 verification fee — 30-day money-back guarantee. Unlocks the verified badge, priority in employer searches, direct messaging, and profile insights.
  4. Set your preferences — target countries, salary, availability, live-in vs live-out.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I create or upload my CV?

Two options — pick whichever you're comfortable with:

  • Guided CV builder (recommended) — fill in structured fields inside your profile. This gives employers a consistent, filterable CV and helps you rank higher in search.
  • Upload existing CV — PDF or Word file, under 10MB. You can still fill in the structured fields on top for filtering.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Is FindCV free for jobseekers?

Creating a profile is free. Applying to jobs is free. Messaging employers is free.

The verification fee — a one-time payment when you're ready to be verified — is the only charge. The exact amount is shown at checkout.

What you'll never be charged: placement fees, deployment fees, or "guarantee" fees. Those are illegal for OFWs under Philippine law. If anyone asks you for one, report it.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What is the jobseeker verification fee — and what does it cover? Popular
$9.99 USD One-time 30-day money-back

$9.99 USD, one-time — paid when you're ready to be verified. Card details processed via Stripe. Not a subscription — you pay once and the verified status stays on your profile.

What verification unlocks:

  • Profile Verification Badge (authenticity marker employers see)
  • Priority in Employer Searches
  • Exclusive Access to Premium Jobs
  • Instant Job Notifications
  • Direct Messaging (to employers)
  • Multiple CV Uploads (manage different versions per role type)
  • Recommended Profile (featured in employer recommendations)
  • Increased Visibility (higher position in searches)
  • Profile Picture Control (visibility settings)
  • Profile Insights (see who viewed your profile)

30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied within 30 days, contact support for a full refund — hassle-free.

It is not a placement fee. Placement fees to jobseekers are illegal in the Philippines. If a "recruiter" tries to charge you extra for a job offer, tell us.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do I need to be in the Philippines to sign up?

No. You can register from anywhere — including if you're already working abroad and looking for a transfer.

When you set your current country to a destination market you're already in, you're eligible for in-country transfer hires — faster than a new deployment, no PRA required in most cases.

Applying & getting hired

From application to your first day

Applications, interviews, contracts, deployment, transfers.

Do I need an NOC to change employers, and what happens if I'm refused?
The in-product NOC checkpoint is coming soon. At launch, FindCV doesn't yet automatically prompt for an NOC when your situation calls for one — you'll need to know the rules for your country and handle the paperwork with your current sponsor manually.

Depends on your country. NOC = No Objection Certificate — a written release from your current employer allowing you to switch. Some countries require it, some don't.

  1. 1

    Where NOC is required

Most GCC countries (UAE — depends on visa type, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar), plus Lebanon, Jordan, Hong Kong (mandatory-return rule), Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Israel.

  2. 2

Where you generally don't need one

UK, Ireland, most of the EU, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. If you're on a work visa there, you can usually switch employers with a new sponsorship — no release paperwork.

  3. 3

    The FindCV NOC checkpoint

When you and a new employer are close to finalising a transfer hire in a consent-required country, we surface a checkpoint. You mark whether you have the NOC or intend to ask for it. The employer sees your status before offering.

  4. 4

    If your current sponsor refuses

    Three legal paths:

    • Wait it out — finish your contract, then transfer freely
    • Escalate to the labour authority — MOHRE (UAE), MOL (Saudi), Labour Court (HK). Legitimate grievances often unlock releases.
    • Look internationally instead — accept a job in a country that doesn't need NOC (see step 2).
FindCV does not facilitate absconding, illegal buyouts, or off-book transfers. Every path we support is legal in your jurisdiction. Illegal transfers put your visa, record, and future job prospects at permanent risk.

How do I apply for jobs?

Search or filter by role, country, salary, and availability. Open a job listing, review the details, and click Apply. Your verified profile and CV go to the employer instantly.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I apply for multiple jobs?

Yes — no cap from the jobseeker side. Apply to as many jobs as fit your profile.

Tip: quality beats quantity. A tailored profile-plus-message on 5 well-matched jobs will beat 50 spray-and-pray applications.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I update my profile information?

Log in, go to My Profile, edit any section, and save. Changes go live immediately.

Some fields — name, birthdate, passport number — are locked once verified, to protect against fraud. To change those, use the Contact form and we'll help you update them safely.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I change my job preferences later?

Yes — the Job Preferences form has six editable fields: Job Titles (up to 3), Job Type, Country, Relocation, Minimum Base Pay, and Pay Period. Update any of them from your profile at any time — changes take effect immediately.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How will I know if an employer contacts me?

Two channels:

  • In-app notification — appears in your notifications bell and message inbox
  • Email — sent to the address on your account

You'll get both for every new message, shortlist, or interview invitation.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How can I improve my chances of getting hired?

Six things move the needle most:

  1. Complete every section — blank fields kill your ranking
  2. Clear profile photo — head-and-shoulders, plain background, professional
  3. Real work history with specific employer names and dates
  4. Certificates uploaded — TESDA, IELTS, ACLS, whatever applies
  5. Keep your CV updated — verified jobseekers can upload multiple CVs for different role types
  6. Log in weekly so you stay active and visible in employer searches
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What's the difference between a transfer hire and a new deployment?

Transfer hire — you're already working abroad and switching to a new employer in the same country (e.g. UAE → UAE). No PRA needed in most cases. Governed by destination-country labour law (MOHRE in UAE, MOL in Saudi, etc.). Faster and cheaper.

New deployment — you're hired from the Philippines and travel to the destination country. A licensed PRA handles paperwork, medical, OEC, and visa. Takes 30-60 days.

Both flows are supported across our destination markets — the exact path depends on the country's labour law and whether a PRA is required for deployment.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do I need to go through a partner agency?

New deployment from the Philippines: yes. A licensed partner agency is required by Philippine law — they handle contract processing, medical, OEC, and visa. FindCV routes you to the right partner and monitors progress.

In-country transfer: usually no. Depends on the destination country's labour rules. FindCV verifies both sides and lets you and the new employer arrange the transfer under local law.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What documents do I need?

Baseline (for any role):

  • Philippine passport (18+ months validity)
  • Government ID (PhilSys, SSS, driver's licence)
  • Updated CV in English
  • References from previous employers

For specific roles:

  • Domestic: household references, NBI clearance
  • Trades: TESDA certificate, portfolio
  • Office / admin: degree/diploma, IELTS if required
  • Nursing / allied health: PRC licence, board exam certificate, DoH accreditation where relevant
  • Maritime: STCW certificate, seaman's book, PRC licence for officers

For deployment: government exit clearance and medical — the partner agency arranges both.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What earnings can I realistically expect?

Widely by role and country. Each job listing shows the offered salary in the destination currency, so you can compare directly.

For reference ranges by country, see our country guides on the blog — Jobs in Dubai, Jobs in Muscat, and more are already published, with more coming.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do I need a medical exam?

Yes, for most destination countries. Your partner agency will book this at a DOH-accredited clinic once your contract is signed.

Common tests: chest X-ray, blood tests, hepatitis screening, drug test. Some countries add specifics (Saudi requires HIV test; UAE adds tuberculosis screening).

Cost is typically covered by the employer under a compliant contract — but confirm with your partner agency before you take the test.

Employer setup

Registering & getting verified

Account types, KYC, and the basics before you post your first role.

How do I create an employer account step by step?
Takes ~5 min Instant activation Profile required before posting

Employer accounts unlock candidate search, job posting, and messaging. Account creation is instant — no waiting for a review team — but you need a completed profile before you can post your first job (see → post a job).

  1. 1

Click Sign Up and pick your account side

Choose Business for a company or agency hiring under a trade licence, or Individual ("Household") if you're hiring for your own home (nanny, driver, housekeeper, etc.). Your choice sets which fields we ask for next and which plan tiers you see later. Business and Individual are separate account types — if you need both, contact support at support@findcv.com.

  2. 2

Sign up with Google or email

Google SSO is one click — link your Google account and you're in. Email signup asks for name, email, and password.

  3. 3

Fill your profile — this unlocks posting jobs

Your profile has 3-4 tabs depending on account type:

    • Business — Personal info · Contact info · Company info · Account
    • Individual — Personal info · Contact info · Account (no Company info tab)

Fill in each tab. Business accounts need Company Name (required); other Company fields (Industry, Size, Description, Logo) are optional but improve trust with candidates. Individual accounts skip the Company tab entirely.

You can't post a job until your profile is complete enough. If you try posting too early, you'll see "Please fill your personal details before posting a job." Add your Mobile Number, Contact address, and Company details (Business) or Personal details (Individual) until the error clears.
Never share bank details or transfer any "activation fee." FindCV never charges you to verify your account. Anyone asking is a scam.
  4. 4

    Start searching or posting

Once your profile is filled, hit Post a Job to list a role or Find Jobseekers / Find Candidates to browse. The candidate database is a paid feature — on the Free plan you'll see a "Database Access Required" prompt when you try to browse, but you can still view people who apply to your jobs. Basic ($35 Individual / $65 Business) unlocks the full database.

Done — your account is live. Next: How do I post my first job?
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I create an employer account?

Choose Employer at sign-up, then pick your account type (see below). Enter your details, verify your email, and complete your company or household profile.

Once you're verified, you can post jobs and contact candidates.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What are the employer account types?

Two account sides, each with their own plan tiers:

Individual / Domestic — for individuals hiring for their own home (nannies, housekeepers, cooks, drivers, caregivers). Two tiers:

  • Free ($0/mo) — 1 job post/mo, 10 applications/job
  • Basic ($35/mo, or annual = Get 2 months free) — 3 jobs/mo, 25 applications/job, CV search, shortlisting, 10 contact reveals, 1 featured job

Business / Corporate — for companies, SMEs, agencies, franchises hiring under a trade licence. Three tiers:

  • Free ($0/mo) — 2 job posts/mo, 10 applications/job
  • Basic ($65/mo, or annual = Get 2 months free) — 5 jobs/mo, 25 applications/job, CV search, shortlisting, 15 contact reveals, 1 featured job
  • SME ($120/mo, or annual = Get 2 months free) — 15 jobs/mo, 50 applications/job, 250 reveals, 5 featured jobs, 3 seats, Priority Support (Phase 3)

You can switch tiers any time within your side. You can't cross sides — Individual and Business are separate account types. See → which side am I on.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What should I do after registering?
  1. Complete your company (or household) profile — logo, brief description, contact person
  2. Verification tick — at launch, employer accounts receive a verified tick automatically at signup. A document-upload submission flow (trade licence for Business, household ID for Individual) is coming soon.
  3. Choose a subscription. Individual Basic ($35/mo) or Business Basic ($65/mo) gets you started. At launch (Phase 1) both come as a free trial — 30 days for Business, 45 days for Individual. Card details are required at signup, and if you don't want to continue you'll fall back to the Free plan.
  4. Post your first job.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do I need a business licence to hire?

Households: no. You hire as an individual under your destination country's domestic-worker regulations (e.g. Tadbeer in UAE, Musaned in Saudi, agency permits in Hong Kong / Singapore, employer sponsorship in UK / US / Canada, and so on across our 39 destination markets). ID and address are verified at signup.

Businesses: yes. A valid trade licence or equivalent (UK Companies House, US EIN, UAE trade licence, Singapore ACRA, etc.) is required. At launch this is captured via your Company Info tab — a formal document-upload verification flow is coming soon.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Posting jobs & hiring

Post a job, find candidates, make a hire

The full hiring workflow — from posting to onboarding.

Can I download candidate CVs?

Yes — on all paid plans. Once you unlock a candidate's contact details (Basic plan or above), you can download their full CV as a PDF from the candidate profile page. The CV includes verification badges, work history, references, and any TESDA / language certifications the candidate has uploaded.

Free plan: you can preview candidate CVs but not download them until you upgrade to Basic ($65/mo business, $35/mo household) or higher.

Bulk download: SME plan ($120/mo) includes a bulk-download button on shortlist views — export up to 50 CVs at once as a ZIP.

What are the four sponsorship tiers I see when posting a job?
Coming soon — not deployed yet. The 4-tier sponsorship picker isn't in the Post-a-Job form yet — it's the framework we're rolling out post-launch. For now, indicate hiring type through the Country + Location Type fields on Step 1 and via the free-text Description. Once sponsorship tiers ship, every job will get tagged automatically so candidates can filter for the flow that fits their situation.

When it launches, picking a sponsorship tier at Post-a-Job time will tell us — and candidates — how you plan to bring them on board.

  1. 1

    PH Deployment

Hire from the Philippines. Candidate flies to your country. A licensed partner agency handles the paperwork (contract, medical, exit clearance, visa). Timeline: 30–60 days. Cost carried mostly by employer under a compliant contract.

  2. 2

    International Hire

Candidate is Filipino but already based in a third country (say Singapore or UK). You bring them to your country as a fresh sponsorship. Faster than PH Deployment because Philippine deployment paperwork isn't required, but visa and travel logistics still apply.

  3. 3

    In-Country Transfer

Candidate is already in your country under someone else's sponsorship. They switch to yours through a local labour authority (MOHRE in the UAE, MOL in Saudi, etc.). Sponsor-consent-required countries may need an → NOC. Fastest and cheapest flow.

  4. 4

    No Sponsorship Needed

Candidate has their own work authorization — permanent residency, dependent visa, freelance permit — and doesn't need you to sponsor them. Fastest possible. Zero paperwork on your side beyond a standard employment contract.

Not sure which to pick? Choose PH Deployment for a safe default — you can add other tiers on the same post to expand your candidate pool.

How do I post a job? Popular

Click Post a Job from your dashboard or the top nav. The 5-step form walks you through:

  1. Job overview — Title, Industry, Category, Sub Category, Country, State/Province/Region, City, Location Type, Job Type, and an optional "Exclusive Job" toggle that restricts applications to verified jobseekers only
  2. Qualifications & skills — education, experience, language, licences
  3. Additional requirements — country-specific and role-specific requirements
  4. Compensation & benefits — salary range, currency, frequency, accommodation/food/insurance flags
  5. Job summary — review everything, then publish or Save Draft to return later

Title field mechanics: Title is a searchable picker — start typing (for example, nurse or nanny) to see matching titles and click your match. Selecting a title auto-fills Industry, Category, and Sub Category. You can't submit a free-typed title that isn't on the standard list — this keeps candidate matching sharp.

Location Type options differ by account: Business shows Remote / In Person / Hybrid, Individual (Household) shows Live-in / Live-out. Job Type is Full-time / Part-time / Temporary on both sides.

What happens after publish: the post goes live and appears in My Jobs. The dashboard shows one of five status filters: All · Open · Paused · Closed · Expired, sortable by Newest.

Before you can post at all — profile completion is required. If you see "Please fill your personal details before posting a job", go to your Profile and complete the Personal information, Contact information, and (for Business accounts) Company information tabs. See → Why can't I post a job?.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Why can't I post a job even though I've signed up?

Because your profile isn't complete enough yet. When you click Post a Job with an incomplete profile, you'll see a red toast at the bottom-right of the screen: "Please fill your personal details before posting a job." The Post-a-Job form will let you fill in Step 1 fields but won't advance to Step 2 until the profile check passes.

How to unblock yourself — fill these before trying again:

  • Personal information tab — Name, Mobile Number (with country dial code), Profession (Business) or Nationality (Individual), Language
  • Contact information tab — Address, Country, City, Company Email, Company Phone
  • Company information tab (Business only) — Company Name is required, Industry / Size / Description improve trust

The profile completion ring at the top of your profile page shows your current % — Business accounts need more than the default 17% baseline, and Individual accounts need more than the default 36% baseline. The exact threshold isn't shown, so the safest move is to fill every non-optional field before retrying Post a Job.

If you're stuck after filling everything, contact support at support@findcv.com with a screenshot — occasionally a specific field silently fails validation and we can spot it faster than the error banner shows.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Is it free to post jobs on FindCV?

Yes — the Free plan does let you post jobs, just with lower monthly limits.

  • Business Free — 2 job posts / month, 10 applications per job, 0 contact reveals, 0 featured jobs
  • Individual (Household) Free — 1 job post / month, 10 applications per job, 0-1 contact reveals, 0 featured jobs

Paid plans (Basic and SME) raise those limits substantially and unlock CV search of the candidate database. See Pricing for full comparison.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I manage multiple job postings?

Yes. Go to My Jobs — your dashboard lists all jobs with 5 status filters: All · Open · Paused · Closed · Expired. Sort by Newest, or search by job title. Each row shows applicant count, date posted, and status.

The number of concurrent job posts you can have depends on your plan — see Pricing. SME allows 15 job posts / month.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I edit or update a job post?

Open the job in your dashboard, click Edit, update any field, and save. Changes go live immediately. Existing applicants stay on the post.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I delete a job post?

Yes — from My Jobs, open the job and use the Close or Delete action. Closed/deleted jobs move out of the Open filter but are kept for audit purposes so applicants can still see their application history in their own dashboard.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How can I find suitable candidates?

Two ways:

  1. Wait for applicants — jobseekers apply to your posted job.
  2. Search the candidate database — filter by job title, country, state/province, city, nationality, gender, and (advanced) language, salary range, experience. Sponsorship-tier filters are coming soon. Reach out proactively.

Database access depends on plan tier. See Database Access.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I contact a candidate?

From the candidate's profile, use the contact-reveal action to unlock their details, then message them through the platform. Contact reveals are counted per plan — 0 on Business Free, 15 on Business Basic, 250 on Business SME; 0-1 on Individual Free, 10 on Individual Basic.

Off-platform contact (asking for a phone number, WhatsApp, etc.) before you've made an offer is discouraged — it protects both sides from scams.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How will I receive applications?

Applications appear in your job dashboard under My Jobs, and you'll get an email for each new applicant. In-app notification and SMS options are on the roadmap but not deployed yet.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I shortlist candidates?

Yes — shortlist directly from an application or from a database search. Sharing shortlists with teammates or a partner PRA/Tadbeer centre is on the post-launch roadmap.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I improve the quality of applicants?

The four biggest levers:

  1. Specific job title — "Live-in Filipina housekeeper — Abu Dhabi villa" or "ICU nurse — London teaching hospital" beats "Housekeeper needed" or "Nurse needed"
  2. Clear requirements — languages, licences, live-in vs live-out
  3. Realistic salary — advertised salary predicts applicant quality
  4. Fast response — reply within 24 hours or good candidates go elsewhere
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I hire a candidate already in my country?

Yes. Search the database for candidates whose current country matches yours. Transfer eligibility depends on the destination country's labour rules — confirm it in the candidate conversation. Coordinate the transfer through the destination country's labour framework (Tadbeer in UAE, Musaned in Saudi, MOM in Singapore, sponsor-transfer processes in the UK/US, etc.).

In-country transfer hires are usually faster than new deployment — no PRA required in most cases, though FindCV does more of the verification work on your behalf.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I hire from the Philippines (new deployment)?

Yes. FindCV is a connector marketplace — we introduce you to a licensed PRA (Philippine Recruitment Agency) or Tadbeer-equivalent partner who does the actual hiring: contract processing, medical, OEC, and visa. FindCV takes a commission on the placement; the PRA carries the regulatory compliance load.

Timeframe: typically 30-60 days from offer to arrival.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Who handles contracts, visas, and travel?

A licensed partner — a Tadbeer centre or destination-country agency for in-country transfers, or a licensed PRA in the Philippines for new deployments. FindCV facilitates the introduction and takes a commission on the placement; the partner does the actual hiring. Dashboard progress-tracking is on the roadmap.

You handle: employer-side approvals (visa quota, sponsorship setup), interview and offer. For transfer hires FindCV does more of the candidate verification directly. For new deployments the PRA handles: candidate-side paperwork, medical, travel, and regulatory compliance.

Which plan side am I on — Business or Individual?

FindCV splits plans by who you are, not what you're hiring. Pick the side that matches your account type — you can't mix plans across sides.

  1. 1

    Business / Corporate Plans

Companies, SMEs, agencies, franchises. Anyone hiring under a trade licence. Three tiers: Free, Basic $65/mo, SME $120/mo. Ideal for office staff, sales, marketing, engineering, hospitality, retail.

  2. 2

    Individual / Domestic Plans

You're hiring for your own home — a nanny, driver, housekeeper, caregiver, cook. No trade licence required. Two tiers: Free and Individual Basic $35/mo. There is no SME tier on the Individual side — domestic hiring volumes don't justify it.

Not sure? If you file taxes as a business, you're on the Business side. If you're hiring for your family's home, you're on the Individual side.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What's included in the Free plan?

The Free Plan ($0/mo) is a permanent fallback tier — post a role, review a small pool of applicants, and try FindCV before committing to a paid plan. Limits differ between Business and Individual sides.

Business / Corporate Free:

  • 2 monthly job posts — up to 2 active job posts per month
  • 10 applications per job — capped applicant pool per post
  • View applications submitted to your jobs (basic filters only)
  • 1 user seat

Individual / Domestic Free:

  • 1 monthly job post — one active listing at a time
  • 10 applications per job
  • View applications submitted to your job
  • 1 user seat

What's NOT included on Free (any side): Instant job activation, CV search / candidate database, viewing applicant profiles from the database, shortlisting, analytics, contact applicant messaging, resume download, featured listings, priority support. Note: Individual Free includes 1 contact reveal + 1 contact applicant per month; Business Free includes 0.

Launch phasing note. The Free plan is our Phase 2 fallback tier — introduced after Basic-Plan free trial converts (see → free trial). At launch (Phase 1), employers start on the Basic free trial by default. Free plan is the safety net for trial non-converters.
Free is great for one-off hiring or long-term light usage. If you need CV search, contact reveals, or want to message applicants directly, you'll need Basic ($35 Individual / $65 Business).
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How does the Basic Plan free trial work?
30 days (Business) 45 days (Individual) Card required

At launch, both Business Basic ($65/mo) and Individual Basic ($35/mo) launch with a free trial — full plan access from day one. Trial length differs by side because domestic hiring naturally moves slower than business hiring.

You add payment details at signup. You are not charged during the trial. This is a Stripe pre-authorisation, not a real charge — no money leaves your account unless the trial converts.

  2. 2

Trial runs — 30 or 45 days of full access

Business trial: 30 days. Individual trial: 45 days. Every feature on Basic tier — CV search, shortlisting, analytics, contact reveals, applicant messaging, resume download.

  3. 3

Trial end — auto-billing kicks in unless you cancel

At the end of the trial, we automatically start billing your Basic plan monthly. Cancel any time before the last day of the trial to avoid the first charge. Once Phase 2 launches, cancelling after billing starts drops you to the → Free plan as a permanent fallback.

This is different from a "no card" trial. Card details ARE required at signup. If you don't want to give a card, wait for Phase 2 (Free plan launch) or contact us. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge — but the account has to know about the card upfront.

What are Contact Reveals and Contact Applicants?

Two different actions with different quotas on each paid plan:

  • Contact Reveal — you unlock a candidate's direct contact details (email, phone) even if they haven't applied to your job. Used when reaching out proactively from the CV database.
  • Contact Applicant — you message someone who has already applied to your job. Reveal is not needed since they've chosen to contact you.

Monthly quotas by plan:

  • Free (either side) — no reveals and no applicant contact messaging. You can view submitted applications only.
  • Individual Basic $35 — 10 contact reveals per month
  • Business Basic $65 — 15 contact reveals per month
  • Business SME $120250 contact reveals per month
Reveals reset each billing month. Unused reveals don't roll over. In a future add-on phase you'll be able to buy top-ups at $10 per 10 reveals if you hit the cap on a paid plan.

What's a User Seat and can I add colleagues?

A User Seat is one team member with access to your FindCV employer account. Each colleague gets their own login and can view candidates, message applicants, and manage jobs under your subscription.

  • Free (either side) — 1 seat
  • Individual Basic $35 — 1 seat (individual accounts are single-user by design)
  • Business Basic $65 — 1 seat
  • Business SME $1203 seats included; extras at $20/seat/month when the seat add-on launches

The Individual side is intentionally single-user — one home, one hiring account. Business SME is the tier where team access is standard.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What is Priority Support?

Priority Support is a faster response track exclusive to the Business SME plan. It's the main non-quota differentiator between Business Basic and Business SME.

  • Free (either side) — standard support, replies typically within 48 hours (Manila working hours)
  • Individual Basic $35 — standard support
  • Business Basic $65 — standard support
  • Business SME $120priority queue, typical reply within one business day, often same-day

Priority Support is not offered on Individual or Free tiers. If you need faster response than standard, the SME plan is the only way to get it at launch.

What plans are actually available right now, and what's coming later?

FindCV rolls out plans in three phases so we can validate limits and pricing with real usage data before locking everything in.

  1. 1

    Phase 1 — Launch (now)

Basic Plan as a free trial only. Business trial: 30 days. Individual trial: 45 days. Card required at signup — no charges during the trial. Auto-bills at trial end unless cancelled. See → trial details.

  2. 2

Phase 2 — Free plan launches

The → Free plan arrives as a permanent fallback for employers who don't convert from trial. Existing trial users get proactive comms so early adopters don't feel worse off than new signups.

  3. 3

Phase 3 — Business SME launches

SME plan ($120/mo Business) rolls out once we have usage data confirming the right limits. SME adds 15 monthly jobs, 50 applications per job, 250 contact reveals, 5 featured slots, 3 seats, and Priority Support. Individual side stays two-tier — no SME on Individual.

Pricing add-ons (extra job posts, extra reveals, featured-listing boost, extra seats) come after core plans are stable — Phase 3+ roadmap.

Do I get a discount for annual billing?

Yes. Every paid plan has a Monthly / Annually toggle at checkout — pay for 10 months and get 12. We frame this as "Get 2 months free" because that's what it means in practice.

Exact savings by plan:

  • Individual Basic — $35/mo or $350/yr (Get 2 months free)
  • Business Basic — $65/mo or $650/yr (Get 2 months free)
  • Business SME — $120/mo or $1,200/yr (Get 2 months free)
  • Billed once per year instead of monthly
  • Locked-in rate — no mid-cycle price changes during the annual period
  • Card required at signup (same as monthly)
  • Auto-renews at the same annual rate unless cancelled before the renewal date
If you're expecting to hire consistently for 6+ months, annual pays for itself in savings. Individual Basic annual works out to under $30/mo effective.

What's the difference between View Applicant's Profile and Contact Applicant?

Different actions, different quotas.

  • View Applicant's Profile — read their full profile, work history, references, and download their CV. Included on every plan, no monthly limit.
  • Contact Applicant — send them a message. Included in your monthly contact quota (see → Contact Reveals).

You can view as many profiles as you want to shortlist internally — you only spend contact quota when you actually reach out.

What subscription plans are available?

Business / Corporate side (companies, SMEs, agencies, franchises):

  • Free — $0/mo · 2 job posts/mo · 10 applications/job · 1 seat
  • Basic — $65/mo or $650/yr · 5 jobs/mo · 25 applications/job · 15 contact reveals · 1 featured job · CV search · shortlisting · analytics · 1 seat
  • SME — $120/mo or $1,200/yr · 15 jobs/mo · 50 applications/job · 250 reveals · 5 featured listings/mo · 3 seats · Priority Support

Individual / Domestic side (individuals hiring for home — nannies, drivers, caregivers, cooks):

  • Free — $0/mo · 1 job post/mo · 10 applications/job · 1 seat
  • Basic — $35/mo or $350/yr · 3 jobs/mo · 25 applications/job · 10 contact reveals · 1 featured job · CV search · shortlisting · analytics · 1 seat

Individual side is single-user by design — there's no SME tier on Individual because domestic hiring volumes don't need it. See → which side am I on if unsure.

Full comparison table is on our Pricing page. Plans roll out in three phases — see → launch phasing.

What does "Applications per Job" mean?

The maximum number of jobseeker applications each of your job posts can receive under your current plan. Caps: Free 10, Individual Basic 25, Business Basic 25, Business SME 50 applications per job.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What are "Monthly Jobs"?

The number of new job posts you can publish per calendar month. Resets on your billing date. Existing posts don't count against next month's allocation.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What does "Instant Job Activation" mean?

Your job goes live immediately after publishing — no manual review delay. Included in all paid tiers.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What is included in Jobseekers Database Access?

The ability to search, filter, and directly contact verified jobseeker profiles — not just wait for applicants on your posted job. Available on all paid tiers (Basic and SME). The Free plan does not include database search — see → Free plan features.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What happens if I reach my plan limits?

You'll be prompted to upgrade or wait until the next billing cycle. Existing posts stay live and applicants continue to arrive — but no new posts can be added until the reset or upgrade.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?

Yes. Changes take effect immediately, with prorated billing for the current cycle. Upgrades give you access to the new limits right away; downgrades apply at the next billing date.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes — cancel from Billing. Access continues until the end of your paid period. No cancellation fees.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do you offer refunds?

Different refund rules by product:

  • Jobseeker verification fee ($9.99)30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied within 30 days of paying, request a full refund via support — no questions asked.
  • Employer subscriptions (Basic / SME, monthly or annual) — non-refundable once a billing period starts. Unused features don't accrue credit. If you cancel mid-cycle you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Basic Plan free trial — no charge during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and no money changes hands. If auto-billing kicks in at trial end, cancel within 24 hours and contact support — we'll do the right thing.

Technical issues that prevent you from using the platform for a significant period — contact support and we'll refund the affected period regardless of the standard rules.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) processed via Stripe. That is the only payment method we accept at launch.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Do prices include VAT/GST?

Prices are shown exclusive of tax. Local VAT or GST is added at checkout where applicable — 5% in UAE, 15% in Saudi, 20% in UK, and so on. You'll see the final amount before you pay.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Are there any hidden fees for jobseekers or employers?

No. Employers pay only their subscription fee. Jobseekers pay only the one-time verification fee.

No pay-per-hire commission, no success fees on top, no placement fees, no "premium candidate" charges.

Deployment costs (visa, medical, flight) are separate and paid to the destination country's government / partner agency — not to FindCV.

Trust & Safety

How we protect both sides

Verification, scam prevention, illegal fees, data protection.

What if my employer withholds my passport abroad?
Passport withholding is illegal in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Hong Kong, Singapore, and most other destination markets. You have the right to hold your own passport.
  1. 1

    Document what's happened

Note the date the passport was taken, who took it, and any conversations. If you can, take a photo of your passport before you hand it over — most employers don't need to hold it.

  2. 2

Contact your local Philippine embassy / POLO / MWO

The Philippine Overseas Labour Office (POLO) — now called MWO — has an office in every major destination country. They intervene directly with employers on passport withholding. Numbers on your POLO/MWO country page.

  3. 3

    Contact the local labour authority

Examples: MOHRE (UAE), HRSD (Saudi Arabia), MOL (Qatar/Kuwait/Bahrain), MoM (Singapore), Labour Department (Hong Kong), and equivalent authorities in other destination markets. Passport-withholding complaints are taken seriously and processed fast. Bring your evidence from step 1.

  4. 4

File a complaint through your partner agency

Your licensed partner agency is the escalation route for complaints against employers and for regulatory reporting in the Philippines. Give them your evidence pack from Step 1 and follow their claims process.

You are not powerless. These channels exist to protect you. Use them.

How does FindCV verify jobseekers? Popular

Jobseeker verification is opt-in — a one-time $9.99 fee (with a 30-day money-back guarantee). When you opt in, our team runs:

  • Passport and government ID check
  • Document validation (certificates, work history)
  • Reference contact (where provided)
  • Human profile review

Verified jobseekers get a badge on their profile. Employers filter for it, so verified candidates get seen first.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How does FindCV verify employers?

At launch, employer accounts get a baseline verification badge automatically when you sign up. This confirms you're a real signed-up account (email verified, sign-in works). Candidates see the green tick next to your name.

Behavioural guardrails that operate whether or not you're deeply document-verified:

  • Only paid-plan employers (Basic / SME) can browse the full candidate database or reveal contact details
  • Off-platform contact info (personal WhatsApp, phone numbers in messages) is discouraged — see → contact policy
  • Household accounts can only post household job categories (Domestic Workers, Household Support, Maintenance & Others) — you can't post an "executive" role from a household account
  • Reports from candidates trigger manual review of the account

Deeper document-based verification — trade licence for businesses, ID for households — is on the roadmap for a future release. Until then, if a candidate has concerns about an employer, they can flag the account and our team reviews.

What are illegal fees, and how do I avoid them? Popular

Under Philippine law, jobseekers should never pay placement fees to an employer or agency for most deployment routes.

Red flags — someone asks you to pay for:

  • "Placement" or "processing" fee before you have a signed contract
  • "Guarantee" of a job offer
  • "Priority" ranking on FindCV (we don't sell this)
  • "Training" fees before deployment

If someone asks you for these, report them via our Contact form — pick "Trust & Safety" as the reason. If you are already deployed and in immediate danger, contact your local Philippine embassy first, then FindCV.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I report a scam or suspicious job?

Three ways:

  • In-app: use the Report button on any job or profile
  • Contact form: submit details via our contact form — pick "Trust & Safety" as the reason

We aim to investigate within one business day. Anonymous reports welcome. Confirmed bad actors are removed and reported to relevant destination-country labour authorities where applicable.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I spot a fake job offer?

Common red flags:

  • Upfront payment requested before a signed contract
  • Off-platform contact (WhatsApp, personal email, phone) before offer
  • Unrealistically high salary vs market rate
  • Pressure to travel on a tourist visa "and convert on arrival"
  • Vague employer identity — no company website, no trade licence
  • Contract that changes on landing

Every one of these = walk away and report.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
What happens if my employer breaches my contract abroad?

Steps:

  1. Document everything (contract, payslips, messages)
  2. If you were deployed through a licensed PRA (new-deployment route), contact them first — they carry regulatory responsibility for the deployment. If you were hired direct as a transfer inside the destination country (no PRA involved), skip to step 3.
  3. Escalate to the destination country's labour authority (MOHRE in UAE, HRSD in Saudi Arabia, MOL in Qatar / Kuwait / Bahrain, MoM in Singapore, and equivalent authorities elsewhere) and the Philippine embassy / MWO

Your licensed partner agency is your primary escalation route — they carry the regulatory relationships. Where possible, we help facilitate a fresh introduction to another employer through the same partner network.

How is my personal data protected?

FindCV Limited is UK-registered and processes personal data under UK GDPR. Key controls:

  • All data encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Access-controlled — only signed-in, paid-plan employers can browse candidate profiles or reveal contact details
  • Never sold to third parties
  • Right to access, correct, or delete your data — we respond to requests within 30 days, as required under UK GDPR. Some records (invoices, deployment paperwork, deployment paperwork) may be kept up to 6 years where law requires.

Data Protection Officer: dpo@findcv.com

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Who can see my jobseeker profile?

Only signed-in employers on a paid plan (Basic / SME) and their linked partner agencies can browse candidate profiles or reveal contact details. Free-plan employers see limited previews. Not the public. Not other jobseekers.

A profile-visibility toggle (pause/hide your profile once you're hired) is on the roadmap. Until then, if you want to be taken out of search results, email support@findcv.com and we'll flip your profile to hidden.

Account & login

Account, data, and getting help

Passwords, deletion, languages, browsers, notifications, support.

What should I do if I forget my password?

Click Forgot password? on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the reset link. Links expire after 1 hour.

If you don't receive the email, check spam first — then contact support.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I change my email address?

Self-service email change isn't available yet — contact support at support@findcv.com from your current registered email, and we'll switch you over after verifying the new address.

If you signed up with Google, you can disconnect Google in Profile → Account, then re-connect with a different Google account; that also swaps your login email.

Self-serve email change is on the roadmap.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I delete my account?

Email support@findcv.com from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request from that email address, then permanently remove your profile and personal data within 30 days (UK GDPR standard).

Legal retention: some records (invoices, deployment paperwork, deployment paperwork) are kept longer where the law requires it — usually up to 6 years. We list exactly what and why in the deletion confirmation email so you know what stays and what goes.

In-product "Delete Account" self-service is on the roadmap — until then, email support is the fastest way. Response within one business day.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Can I switch languages?

Yes. Supported at launch: English, Arabic, Tagalog. More coming.

The language selector currently lives on Profile → Personal Info — pick your language there and it's applied across the app. A header-level language switcher is on the roadmap.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Which browsers and devices are supported?

Desktop: latest Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Mobile: iOS Safari (15+) and Android Chrome (100+). Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I manage notifications?

At launch, FindCV sends transactional emails only — you get an email for anything that needs your attention (verification status, new applications, messages, billing). There isn't a per-category toggle panel yet.

Types of email you'll receive:

  • New applications and candidate replies (employers only)
  • New messages in your inbox
  • Job matches (jobseekers with verified profiles)
  • Verification status updates
  • Billing and account changes
A Settings → Notifications panel with per-category email and in-app toggles is on the roadmap. Until then, if you're getting too many emails and want to unsubscribe from a specific type, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of that email.
Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
How do I contact support?

Two channels:

  • Contact form/contact/ — routes to the right team based on your reason
  • Contact form: submit any request via our contact form — pick the reason (Candidate support, Employer sales, or Trust & Safety) and we'll route it to the right team

What's the difference between FindCV and MediJobs.ph?

FindCV covers every industry — domestic, hospitality, retail, admin, trades, drivers, security, IT, sales, marketing, engineering, healthcare, maritime, and more.

MediJobs.ph is our sister brand in build. When it launches later in 2026, it'll be the specialist platform for healthcare workers (nurses, caregivers, medical technicians, allied health) — with healthcare-specific credential verification, DoH/PRC integrations, and hospital-focused employer flows.

Until MediJobs launches, healthcare roles are welcome and fully supported on FindCV. When MediJobs is ready, we'll migrate healthcare accounts across and let you know in advance.

Same UK parent company. Same underlying tech. MediJobs will layer healthcare-specific credential checks (PRC, DataFlow, country licensure) on top of the FindCV verification baseline.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Where should I post healthcare or maritime roles?

Both are supported on FindCV right now.

  • Healthcare — nurses (all grades — RN, NP, ICU, ER, LPN and more), caregivers, medical technicians, allied health. Full titles taxonomy is live in Post-a-Job (Business side).
  • Maritime and seafarers — deck crew, engine crew, catering crew, officers, and other vessel roles. Supported on FindCV.

Our sister brand MediJobs.ph is being built as a specialist healthcare platform for later in 2026 — with healthcare-specific credential verification (PRC licence, board exam, DoH accreditation) and hospital-focused employer flows. When MediJobs launches, we'll migrate healthcare accounts across and give advance notice. Until then, healthcare hiring and applying happens here.

Maritime deployment paperwork (STCW, seaman's book, medical) still goes through the same licensed partner-agency handoff as other roles for candidates being deployed from the Philippines.

Was this helpful? Thanks — noted.
Is FindCV a Philippine company?

No. FindCV is operated by FindCV Limited, a UK-registered company.

Our licensed partner agencies in the Philippines handle Philippine recruitment compliance directly with the relevant authorities. That's where the Philippine connection lives — through partners, not through FindCV itself.
