Step 1

Open your profile

Log in to FindCV and click Profile → Referrals. Your unique tracked URL and personal code are already there — nothing to apply for, nothing to wait on. Copy the link, share it in your newsletter, Slack, LinkedIn, or DM it to a friend. The code works offline too.

Step 2

They sign up & subscribe

Their first month is on us — Basic or SME plan, whichever fits their team. No card required to start the trial. 90-day cookie window means credit sticks even if they take their time to decide.

Step 3

You get paid

Bounty credited when they complete month 2 (30-day chargeback hold). Paid monthly on the 15th via PayPal or Wise. Minimum payout $50. Plus 10% recurring for 12 months while they stay.

Questions we get a lot.

Do I need to be a FindCV customer to refer?
No — anyone can create a free account and start referring. You don't need to have hired or been hired yourself. HR consultants, agency owners, PH community leaders, VAs, LinkedIn creators — the program is open to everyone with a valid PayPal or Wise account.
What plans qualify for a bounty?
Only paid plans. Business Basic ($65/mo), Business SME ($120/mo), and Household Basic ($35/mo) all pay bounties. Free-plan signups don't earn anything — a full month of paid usage is required to trigger the bounty and start the recurring tail.
What if my referral cancels?
If they cancel within the first 30 days, the bounty is voided (chargeback hold period). After 30 days the bounty is guaranteed. Recurring earnings continue only while the referred employer stays subscribed — if they cancel in month 6, months 7-12 don't accrue.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No. Self-referrals are prohibited and will forfeit both the bounty and any linked account. This includes using your own referral link, sharing between family accounts under the same billing entity, or using a shell company. Our fraud detection catches this at signup.
How do you handle chargebacks?
Bounties accrue as "pending" for 30 days after the referred payment clears. If the referred employer chargebacks in that window, the pending bounty is voided. This protects the program from abuse and keeps payouts sustainable.
How does the 90-day cookie work?
When someone clicks your link, we set a cookie that lasts 90 days. If they sign up any time in those 90 days, you get credit — even if they come back to findcv.com directly. Last-click attribution: if they later click someone else's link, that referrer wins.
Is there a cap on how much I can earn?
No cap. If you send us 50 employers this month, you earn 50 bounties. Some of our top referrers earn thousands per month once the recurring tail compounds.
Do I owe tax on referral earnings?
Yes — you're responsible for reporting referral income to your local tax authority. We report US-based referrer payouts to the IRS via 1099-NEC when required. For non-US referrers, we don't withhold tax — you handle reporting locally. If you're unsure, consult a local accountant.
